Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026. We keep things simple and honest about what we collect and how we use it.
The short version
This privacy policy describes how Dyve Technology, LLC ("Dyve," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit dyvetech.com (the "Site"). We collect the information you give us when you fill out a form or email us, and we use it to respond to you and run our business. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. When you fill out a contact form on this site or the contact modal, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, what brings you here (selected interests), and any additional notes you include.
- Email and calls. If you email hello@dyvetech.com or call us, we retain the conversation and any information you share in it for as long as it's relevant to our working relationship.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other sites. We see aggregate pageview counts and general traffic sources, not individuals.
- We do not collect payment information on this Site. If we work together, payment is handled through a separate invoicing system covered by that provider's security and privacy practices.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and set up a call.
- To follow up about the work we're doing or discussing together.
- To send service-related communications tied to an active engagement.
- To improve the Site based on aggregate analytics only.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Third parties that help us run this
We use a small set of well-known service providers to run the Site and handle your information. They access your data only to provide their services to us, and they're contractually or legally bound to protect it:
- Cloudflare: site hosting, security, and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Google Workspace (Apps Script and Sheets): receiving and storing contact form submissions.
- Microsoft 365: email hosting for our @dyvetech.com addresses.
We don't sell your information. We don't share your information with third parties for their own marketing. We don't run ad retargeting or behavioral advertising.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact form submissions, email threads, and call notes for as long as they're relevant to our working relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward to support ongoing questions, tax and accounting obligations, and good records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below) and we'll do so unless we're legally required to retain it.
How we protect it
Contact form submissions are delivered to a secure Google Workspace-backed system. Email lives in Microsoft 365. Both are covered by their providers' enterprise security and encryption standards. Our own systems are protected by multi-factor authentication, endpoint security, and least-privilege access controls. That said, no online system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't share your information with third parties for their marketing.
- We don't add you to marketing lists you didn't opt into.
- We don't use tracking cookies.
- We don't run remarketing or ad retargeting.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct inaccuracies, and ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dyvetech.com. We'll confirm receipt within one business day and complete most requests within 30 days.
Illinois residents
Under Illinois law, including the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, request corrections, and request deletion. If we ever experience a security breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you as required by Illinois law. Contact us at the email above to exercise these rights.
California residents
If you're a California resident, you have the rights described above (access, correction, deletion) plus the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any non-essential data collection. Our analytics provider (Cloudflare) is already privacy-friendly and doesn't track individuals across sites, so there's no tracking to opt out of here in the first place.
Children
This Site is intended for business use. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this Site, please email hello@dyvetech.com and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged at the top for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
